Pompadour

From Marie Antoinette to rock and roll icon Elvis Presley, the pompadour has gone in and out . A pompadour paired with a short haircut (in the style of contemporary pop stars like Miley Cyrus and Janelle Monae) is a more modern take on the look. It™s a cool, fashionable way to add some red carpet-worthy volume to your hair. A pompadour looks great with dramatic nighttime makeup, but can also be dressed down with softer colors for the daytime.

Undercut

If you want to get even edgier with your ˜do, . This funky yet versatile cut can be worn with a bob, shoulder length hair, or a pixie cut. The top layer is kept long and the hair on the lower half of the head is shaved or buzzed. It™s totally up to you how long or short you want your top layer to be.
